Getaways Ireland Price Promise

We want every Getaways Ireland customer to feel confident that they are receiving great value when booking an Irish hotel break with us.

If you find the same eligible hotel stay available at a lower price on another qualifying booking website within 48 hours of booking with Getaways Ireland, we will refund the difference.

If your claim is successful, we will also give you a €10 Getaways Ireland booking code to use towards your next eligible hotel booking.

Our Price Promise is subject to the eligibility requirements and terms and conditions set out below.

How Our Price Promise Works

To qualify for Our Price Promise, the lower-priced stay must have exactly the same:

Hotel
Arrival and departure dates
Number of nights
Room type
Number of guests
Board or accommodation basis
Currency
Taxes and charges
Payment and cancellation conditions

The lower price must be publicly available through an eligible online booking website.

Prices available directly from the hotel, through loyalty programmes, using gift cards or as part of a package are not eligible.

How to Make a Price Promise Claim

You must have completed your Getaways Ireland booking before submitting a claim.

Email your claim to info@getawaysireland.ie within 48 hours of completing your booking.

Information to Include

Your email must include:

Your full name
Your Getaways Ireland booking reference
The name of the hotel
Your arrival date
The number of nights booked
The website where you found the lower price
The lower price you found
A direct link to the lower-priced stay
A screenshot showing the lower price and booking conditions
The date and time the screenshot was taken

The lower price must still be available when Getaways Ireland verifies your claim.

Claim Review and Verification

We aim to review and verify Price Promise claims within 72 hours of receiving them.

All claims are subject to verification by Getaways Ireland. We will check that the alternative price is publicly available and meets all the qualifying conditions.

Screenshots must be accompanied by the relevant website link, timestamp and complete booking details.

We will not approve claims that result from:

Website, system or pricing errors
Incorrectly displayed prices
Fraudulent or misleading information
Prices that are no longer available
Prices that do not meet all the comparison requirements

Getaways Ireland’s decision regarding the validity of a Price Promise claim is final.

Successful Claims

If your claim is verified and approved:

We will refund the difference between the qualifying competitor price and the Getaways Ireland booking price.
You will receive a €10 Getaways Ireland booking code for use towards a future eligible hotel stay.
The refund and booking code will be issued within 72 hours after you check out of the hotel.
Your €10 booking code must be redeemed within 60 days of its issue date.

Although we will process an approved refund within the stated period, it may take up to 30 days or until your next statement period for the refund to appear in your account.

Price Promise Terms and Conditions

You must complete your booking through Getaways Ireland before submitting a claim.
Your claim must be submitted by email within 48 hours of completing your booking.
The comparison must relate to the same hotel, dates, number of nights, room type, number of guests, accommodation basis, currency, taxes, charges and cancellation conditions.
The lower price must be publicly displayed and available to book when we verify the claim.
The comparison price must be available through an online travel agency or company that sells directly to the general public.
The comparison price must be displayed in the same currency as your Getaways Ireland booking.
Prices obtained directly from a hotel are not eligible.
Loyalty programme prices, member-only prices, gift card reductions, package prices and other restricted offers are not eligible.
Price comparisons will be assessed individually.
Customers must reside in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland for a claim to be eligible.
The comparison website must be aimed at consumers in Ireland.
Your Getaways Ireland booking must remain active and you must complete your stay.
If you cancel your booking before check-in, your claim will become invalid and no refund or complimentary booking code will be issued.
Price Promise booking codes will be issued within 72 hours after checkout and must be redeemed within 60 days of issue.
Getaways Ireland may choose to cancel the booking and provide a full refund instead of refunding the price difference and issuing a €10 booking code.
Getaways Ireland reserves the right to amend, pause, withdraw or cancel Our Price Promise without prior notice. Claims already approved will be processed in accordance with the terms that applied when the claim was submitted.

Changes to Our Price Promise

Getaways Ireland may change, restrict or end Our Price Promise at any time and without prior notice.

The Price Promise terms published on the Getaways Ireland website at the time your claim is submitted will determine whether your claim is eligible.

Price Promise Administration

Our Price Promise is managed by Digibreaks Ltd, part of the Win|Win Group, on behalf of Getaways Ireland.

Qualifying price difference refunds and €10 Getaways Ireland booking codes are fulfilled and funded by Digibreaks Ltd.
